From Dutch to international
At De Catering Compagnon, we don’t focus on one specific type of buffet. We work with different styles and cuisines. Think of a classic hot and cold buffet, a Burgundian variant, Italian, Indonesian, or vegetarian. Always composed of familiar dishes, but combined in a slightly smarter way than you would do yourself.
We don’t just look at what tastes good, but also at what works in practice. What can be kept warm? What looks good on a buffet? What is easy to eat standing up? Choices like these make the difference between ‘good food’ and a buffet that people are really enthusiastic about.
Combining a buffet with other catering
A buffet rarely stands alone. It is often part of a whole day. Are you starting with lunch at the office, followed by a buffet in the afternoon? Or would you like to end the buffet with snacks so that people stick around a little longer? No problem. Everything is handled by one party, with one schedule and one point of contact. And in the summer, we see many combinations with a barbecue. For example, a buffet for the main course, followed by grilled dishes outside. These kinds of combinations make your event just that little bit more fun, without complicating things.
Always tailor-made
We don’t work with standard boxes or ready-made solutions. We tailor every buffet to your group. How many people, what time of day, what type of guests, indoors or outdoors, standing or seated. That determines the composition.
We bring warming equipment as standard. We can arrange cutlery, plates, and glassware if you wish. And we make sure everything is set up logically, so your guests can easily find their way around the buffet. All you have to do is make sure the people are there. We’ll take care of the rest.
